A GUIDE ON HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR CRPTs TO YOUR CRYPTERIUM WALLET

After the Crypterium ICO which saw about 67,000 buyers of the CRPT tokens, the Crypterium team requested buyers to withdraw their CRPT tokens from its website. Majority users moved their tokens to a MEW (MyEtherWallet) address and have since not moved it out.

Today, the Crypterium team have developed its app which currently has the functionality of a wallet. (among other things). The wallet's security is strong and meets the most current security requirements for mobile banks. Private keys are not stored within the app, thus making it absolutely impossible for phone hackers to gain access to them. Also, all database information are backed up on regularly basis, thereby making it difficult to loose vital information as a result of system crash or malfunction. Users are also required to enter secret pins (like password) in order for them to gain access into the app.

Recently, the team shared the news of an upcoming update which will further reinforce the security of the app. That is, the 2-Factor Authentication function. Whenever a user attempts to log in from an unrecognized device, he will need to input a secret code (which will be sent to his email) before he can log into the app.

We feel with the amount of security measures put in place, every user can now move their CRPTs (And Bitcoins, Ethereum, and Litecoin which are now supported on the app) to the Crypterium app. This article will give a stepwise direction on how to move our CRPT from MEW to the Crypterium app.

NOTE - We intentionally missed the log in steps to both MEW and the Crypterium app, as we expect all users should be able to do those. We have also purposely masked out vital information we deem private. Please bear with us.

Step 1: First step is to get the CRPT wallet address from the Crypterium app. This is the address you will receive your CRPTs 

a. Log into your Crypterium app. On the landing page (which is shown in the image below), click on the "Receive" icon.

b. Upon clicking on the "Receive" icon in step a above, the below page will open. Note the red circled area. The default option is Crypterium token. Other options are Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin which can be selected by clicking on the dropdown button and choosing the desired coin. But, in this case, we want to receive CRPTs, so we will leave the selected option at "Crypterium Token"...

The CRPT address we will receive the token is then displayed. This is the alphanumerical string displayed above the QR code box.

But to copy this address, we will click on the "Copy address" caption which can be found just below the QR code white box.

Step 2 : In this step, we will send CRPT tokens to the Crypterium address we copied in step 1

a. Go to www.myetherwallet.com. Select "Send Ether & Tokens" amongst the tab options at the top of the page. You would then be requested for how you prefer to access your wallet. Select the preferred option and log in accordingly. (Most users select Private key...Subsequently, they input their private key in order to log into their wallet).

b. After logging into your MEW wallet, you will paste your CRPT wallet address (the one copied from the app) into the "To Address" field (as indicated below)

c. Select CRPT from the Dropdown box (the default option is ETH), and input the amount of CRPT you want to send to your Crypterium wallet. In case you want to send your entire CRPT balance, then simply click on the "Send Entire Balance" caption right below the "Amount to Send" field.

d. Click "Generate Transaction" button to create the transfer transaction. Please note that you need to have some ETH in your wallet before you can transfer CRPT to your wallet. This is used as Gas to enable the transfer of your CRPTs. Depending on the amount of CRPT you want to transfer, we recommend you have at least 0.0025 ETH in your MEW ETH wallet.

e. Clicking on the Generate transaction will create the transaction. But this has not been sent yet. To send, you will click on "Send Transaction" button.

f. A confirmation notification will pop up, indicating the amount of CRPT intended to be sent and several other details including the estimated transaction cost. In this example, the maximum transaction cost is estimated to be 0.01532867 ETH.

g. Click on "Yes, I am sure! make Transaction"...You will normally receive your CRPTs in your Crypterium wallet within 30 minutes of initiating the transaction.

Step 3: This is optional. The actual process of sending your CRPT ends with step 2g. But, we sometimes like to know the status of our transactions. Especially when we are yet to see the trasnferred tokens on the app. So continue with the following steps to confirm your transaction.

a. After confirming to make the transaction, the pop up will close. Then at the bottom of the page, you will see a message in green background indicating that the transaction has been broadcasted. This is a first sign that your transaction has been sent. (See the image below)..Note that if you do not have enough ETH in your account the transaction will fail to send. The only solution to this is to get sufficient ETH. You can refer to the Estimated required Eth as indicated in the image in the previous step to guide on the amount of ETH to transfer to your MEW.

g. You can check the status of your transaction by clicking on the "Check TX status" This will show you the realtime status of your transaction and the actual cost of transferring your CRPTs. The below image shows that the initiated transaction was successful. Thus, it is only a matter of time before the CRPTs will hit my Crypterium wallet.

Step 4: Welcome, my CRPT tokens.

To confirm that your CRPT tokens have arrived, click on "History" at the bottom of the Crypterium App. Upon arrival of the CRPT, you will see a Completed transaction showing the amount of CRPTs received.
